Red bus has been operating in the Free Famagusta region since 2008.

It was the first company to register and operate  open top buses on the island.

The company was the inspiration of two men chatting in a local bar, one from London and one from Manchester.

That was the beginning of many headaches, the reason being Cyprus law did not allow open top buses and there is a height restriction of 4mtrs.

After many visits to the Transport Ministry, Cyprus eventually changed the law to allow open top vehicles however the 4 metre law still remains to this day.

The two men then sought investors to set up the company and it is now jointly owned by ex pats and Cypriots.

In the first year the company began with just the one bus. As a result of the popularity of the tour, two more buses were needed for the following season. New tours were added for the 2010 season and many bookings were also received for wedding hire, therefore a further two buses were purchased.

The buses are all personalised with girls names. ANDREA, ELLI, RUBY,DAISY and MILLIE.
