Village tour Hi,we did the village tour last Monday and found it to be very pleasent and informative.I will certainly come back to Protaras again and will do the Farmagusta/Varosha trip.Bought the DVD which should be good.Well done Helen our driver and Dave our guide. Submitted By: Derek McKinney

Trip to Varosha/Famagusta We have just recently returned from our summer holiday in Protarus, Cyprus. We first went on the Village Tour really to see a bit more of the island. My son who is 12 enjoyed the trip so much that we booked the trip to Famagusta and Varosha as soon as we got back to our hotel. It is one of the best trips we have ever been on whilst on holiday abroad. The tour guide really knew his stuff on the history of the island and I strongly recommend anyone to go on either of the trips. Submitted By: Ruth Pettingale

Village Took the village tour which lasts approx 3x hours ,must say this was one of the best tours that I have ever taken on any of our holidays.Very intresting and just long enough not to be bouring a great way to see rural life in Cuprus and the border area.Well done fokes will do it again Submitted By: Robert Anita Patterson

Red Bus Tour We have done this tour twice now and it is brilliant, so informative and the driver and tour guide are such fun. We are coming out in the middle of October and my friend has enquired for me and we intend doing the trip to Famagusta while we are there. Glad you are still going guys, love this bus tour. Trip to Famagusta and Varosha A fab trip. You see some of the Greek Cypriot was of life and then pass over the border to see some of the Turkish Cypriot way of life. I can't describe the desolation in Varosha of which was once people's homes and holiday hotels. The staff on the bus are friendly and give a commentry as you go along so you know exactly where you are and what's going on. It was a very moving experience, and very good value for money. If you go, take some towels are there is time to swim on the beach at the Varosha stop (and see where Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton spent some time), and the towels also come in handy for comfort on the bus seats. Hello to the man from Wythenshawe who did the bus commentery. Wythenshawe or Cyprus - not a hard choice to make!!!! Submitted By: Norma Lockett

Village Tour We returned early hours of today from our holiday at Silver Sands in Protaras. Whilst there we did the Village Tour on the red bus. It was a super trip and very the information was told in a friendly and interesting way. We bought the DVD of the tour and have just watched it. The photos and captions were excellent and brought back pleasant memories of the trip. A word of warning - passed on to us by someone in our hotel who had done the tour - take a towel as the seats are very hot. We didn't find the seats uncomfortable so maybe the towels help there too. Highly Recomended Just got back from Red bus Tour & really enjoyed it, very relaxing trip and full of interesting info about Cyprus, this tour is well worth every penny & a must do while on your hols. Pickup/Drop off Points If you are staying in the Rising Star or Golden Star Hotel make sure the rep books your Pick up point as The Square Bar /Macdonalds.Because the Sunrise Beach Pick up is a long walk from your hotel. Submitted By: Bill
