Red Bus Tour 14 of us from The Iliada Hotel had a Red Bus Tour on Friday 18th September and what a fantastic trip we had.A Cyprus TV film crew were on board at the start and we gave them some good footage.The tour was very interesting and informative and Dave the guide was brilliant.The Red Bus Tour is a must for everyone. Red bus tour We have just returned from Protaras and whilst there we did the 'red bus tour'. We thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was money well spent. The guys who run it.. Dave and Dave are very genuine people. They have spent a lot of time and effort setting up this business enterprise. village tour This is a MUST! this trip is fantastic, you get to see so much of the area and its amazing views. Daves knowledge is great...could have listened to ur facts all day!!! Great value for money and u even stop of at a little shop where u can freshen up. have some local fruit (prickly pear is yummy!) and grab some water. Make sure u take a camera as u wont want to miss any moment! Thanx so much for one of the best trips i've been on Submitted By: rachel

red bus trips Village tour with excellent info provided by alan. Very informative. Well worth 3 hours of our holiday. We went on this trip last year and were rewarded for going again. See places that you wouldnt get to see normally. Also thanks to Captain Dave (dont call him the driver). Also went on the famugusta trip, again very informative and well worth the time. Congratulations to all of the people involved and hope they will keep going, with different trips planned and get the recoginition they deserve. Village tour Wow !! that was the "BEST" value holiday tour I have ever had the pleasure to pay for, it was simply a fantastic 3 hours packed full of information, sights and tastes etc etc. Dave is a wonderful pilot and the commentary from Alan was just spot on. My only regret is that we were unable to go on the Famagusta tour, next time tho !!. I urge anyone who travels to Cyprus to take the time to see some of the Island and hear about the past and recent history, and the Red Bus tour must be among the best ways to do this. Wave at the guards .......... Our family were on your tour last week. The views were gorgeous, the natural air conditioning was a bonus and Alan was an excellent guide. The stop at the fruit shop too was interesting trying the prickly pear and fresh figs - delicious. We recommend this bus tour to everyone. Submitted By: Fiona Buckley

Village Tour 27/8/09 Just back from our first holiday in Cyprus and have to say that the Village Tour we took on 27th August was really the highlight of our trip. We found it to be most enjoyable and hugely informative, thanks to a great commentary from Dave our host. Famagusta Trip We have just returned from holiday in Cyprus. One of the highlights had to be the open top bus tour of the Famagusta area. Enjoyed the trip so much we did it twice. Alan the guide from Manchester was full of information all about the area and the troubles between Turkey & Cyprus. Great trip frpm start to finish. If you get the chance give it a go.
